Customer Review: I've heard much of The Killers in the past, i.e... "Mr. Brightside" and their other big hits. None of their other albums had me "hooked" right out of the gate, though... I've only been listening to this record for about two weeks now, but it is nothing shy of amazing. Even if you aren't a big... more info
Customer Review: This album is provoking, intimidating, and catchy. I really was apprehensive about buying a punk album, but when I first played the record, I was immediately hooked. If you're suffering from bouts of hysteria stemming from listening to too much emo and "punk" rock (AFI, Green Day, Offspring, Blink... more info
Customer Review: What a breath of fresh air it was to listen to The Ting Tings debut cd. Reminding me of Blondie, The Go-Go's and The Waitresses, this English duo really brings the heat on their debut. What I'm talking about is the catchy, memorable beats, melodies and lyrics. From "Great DJ" to the... more info
Customer Review: Everyone has heard the single mr. brightside. But the rest of the album is just all the way groundbreaking. In the days of heavy metal and emo/screamo, these guys bring their own sound and style. This album is in my top 100 of all time.
Customer Review: I saw Stop Making Sense on video years ago and loved the concert. Getting it on DVD re-mastered and re-mixed was like seeing it for the first time. The sound and picture are supreme and for anyone who likes Talking Heads it it is a must. I rate this 5 stars with no hesitation.
Customer Review: If you somehow have managed to make it nearly 30 years and do NOT own a copy of Cheap Trick at Budokan, in any of its prior incarnations (original 1CD, the 2 CD "Complete", LP, etc), then by all means, pick this up. The album is a fantastic, landmark 70's live rock album. With this reissue, the real... more info
Customer Review: I find it quite unfortunate that with every release, The Killers sound worse and worse. This was a pretty big letdown after their highly successful debut, Hot Fuss. I've never really been a huge Killers fan, but I figured I'd give this album a listen after enjoying most of their first one. It was... more info
Customer Review: For myself, I wouldn't care if The Killers came out with an album of B-sides like Sawdust every 6 months if all of the songs are as great as these are. The songs on here are a mixture of the sound of Hot Fuss and the sound of Sam's Town and then a dash of neither for good measure. With the exception... more info
Customer Review: This is another Greatest Hits package I have picked up to fill in for missing/lost CDs. It has all the hits that I remember from the Pyromania and Hysteria when Def Leppard was their most popular. I know they had a couple of records before then, but I never really listened to the band until I... more info
Customer Review: I love this album. I originally heard Angels on the Moon & went searching for the song. When I found the album I liked all the snippets I heard & bought it. It is now my favorite CD! Love every song & Clayton's voice is so unique & original. Like a breath of fresh air to the music... more info
