Customer Review: Far more than just a collection of recipes, this book is a must-have for anyone caring for a baby or toddler. The recipes are organized by age and contain detailed information about feeding your little one at each stage. Every recipe has nutritional information as well as symbols indicating whether... more info
Customer Review: I haven't made my way through the whole book yet, but what a great start - good organization, fabulous ideas and examples, nice mix of philosophy and method, more than ample motivation and inspiration to start my own food forest!
Customer Review: An enjoyable and easy-to-follow book on growing grapes and making wine. Usually you would have to buy one book on grape growing and another on how to make wine, but Cox combines both in one volume. A worthwhile book even for those who make wine, but only think about growing vines.
Customer Review: I expected MORE from Earthbound Farms. This cookbook was nothing special. The recipes are mediocre and short in number. I expected more emphasis on the FRUITS and VEGGIES. I felt it was overpriced for what it contained. It might be good for "beginners", but contains little for real produce lovers!... more info
Customer Review: I purchased this cookbook to help me plan meals and get a better understanding of how diabetics and pre-diabetics should think about food. Because I like to cook, especially ethnic meals, I was very surprised to see international recipes with authentic ingredients and spices. We've tried 8 recipes... more info
Customer Review: What a delightful cookbook. This is really a walk through the author's garden and life, and a wonderful trek it is. The connection of good food with a natural life-style fills the pages and the pictures support the calm and healthy way this family thrives. A must for all who love good food and... more info
Customer Review: Being a 15-year organic gardening veteran and seeing more and more organic products in the grocery store had me curious -- where did it come from and is it truly organic. Is it worth it to pay more for organic than non-organic. This book is for every individual who wanted those same questions... more info
Customer Review: Even though I am a huge fan of Jessie Cool's restaurant, the Flea Street Cafe, I wasn't planning on getting this cookbook--a cookbook devoted to organic foods just didn't float my boat. However, after tasting three of the recipes at dinner parties, I was hooked. I've made four of the recipes so far... more info
Customer Review: This book is a pleasure to read. It's full of healthful information in an honest and humorous style. I really love the little sprout cartoon characters as well as all of the other drawings! This book is a fun read for anyone who is into sprouting or healthy eating.
Customer Review: Steve Meyerowitz, a.k.a. Sproutman has been sprouting since the 1970s, and owns a company selling sprouting equipment and seeds. I've read several of his books and chatted with him in person about sprouting. Sproutman knows his stuff, and IMO, anything he writes about sprouting is worth reading. I... more info
